Twitter Experiment

I decided it was time to begin promoting Ishyva a few months ago. Of course advertising and marketing resources are everywhere you turn... but I went a different route. I decided to listen to (finally) my husband's input on the matter. It has been proven to me from several very influential professionals that when it comes to social medial initiatives, he is the man! Prior to this, I didn't realize to what level this was one of his expertises. Therefore, I began my Twitter Experiment. After a great deal of research and learning, I absolutey agree that Twitter is a fabulous resource to gain brand recognition.... on a few conditions.

(1) When trying to establish brand recognition, you only get what you put into it. It takes time. It takes effort. It had to be strategic. What to post, what time of day to post it, who to follow, who and what to retweet, how to get the right people following... it takes a strategy.

(2) Just like in life, who you follow is critical. The people you follow set the course of what type of information you have access to in the feeds. Quality information versus random thoughts is crucial.

(3) Who is following you? Could be anyone. But again, if you follow quality people with quality information, success breeds success.

So far it is going well. We have more business than we anticipated. This business is still coming from our previous sources- the result of selling our services- but we are also getting a good deal of it from connecting with other tweeters.

Ishyva does not currently have a website. In this day and age, can you imagine? This is for a reason. There are several aspects to Ishyva, and we are consulting with a few companies to determine the right strategy... Do we want to bombard the different areas that Ishyva covers all in one site, and just direct traffic from there? Or do we want to promote each niche separately? I would love to hear your input, please let us know your opinions.

In the mean time, thank you for following Ishyva. Your life is your business, are you running it the most effectively?
